My
interest in Pilates began in 2001 while living in a suburb of
Toronto. I was searching for an
exercise program other than the typical aerobic class that could
help me strengthen and lengthen my muscles. I worked with a wonderful
trainer who inspired me to obtain my certification. When we moved back to
Michigan
in 2005 I took my courses through the PhysicalMind Institute in
St
Clair Shores. The certification provided
me with the technical knowledge on how to teach movement to all body
types following the ideal of body awareness. I firmly believe that with
continued dedication to Pilates, a person can transform their
body. |
